FISHING RIVER FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
Our History.
Where We Started
Fishing River Fire was originally two separate departments. Those departments were Mosby Fire Department and Missouri City Fire Department. In 1990 the two departments came together and created Fishing River Fire Incorporated, charging the citizens an annual fee for providing fire service. It was then, in 1992, that Fishing River Fire Incorporated went to the voters of the district to make a fire protection district. To this day, we proudly serve our community and our citizens as Fishing River Fire Protection District.
